Outbranch is a reflection platform that helps users discover new experiences, document their journey, and grow through community inspiration.

THE PROBLEM People often want to try new activities but lack inspiration, motivation, or a way to recognize their personal growth over time.

Outbranch transforms exploration into a personal journey by allowing users to document experiences, reflect on moments, and discover new interests.

HYPOTHESES
Two hypotheses were explored for user testing.

Community Influence
If recommendations incorporate community activity, users will be more likely to discover and try new experiences.

System Influence

If recommendations incorporate past experiences, users will be more likely to discover and try new activities.

BENCHMARKING Reviewing existing habit-building apps revealed different approaches to motivation, progress tracking, and personal reflection.

SERVICE & UX MAPPINGMapping the experience from discovering a new activity to reflecting on it helped shape the app's key interactions and moments of engagement.
