Hello! My name is Mai, pronounced “my.”
I am a Communication Design major at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. Additionally to my skills in graphic design, I have a unique background in biomedicine with an Associate Degree in Science, which makes me adept at analyzing problems and coming up with creative solutions. I have worked as design chair for organizations at my college, creating impactful presentations, posters, and social media content for recruitment, fundraising, and promoting cultural awareness.
I am passionate about making things more accessible for people to understand and have a major interest in UI/UX design. Whether it’s creating human-centered design or using visual demonstrations to explain oral health to children, I enjoy helping others learn and learning in the process myself. In my free time, I play the piano which I have been practicing for over twelve years, exploring local parks, and junk journaling.
